(At first I was able to nurse them together, but now I nurse one at a time.) I'm struggling with allowing my older daughter to continue nursing when all of my mama instincts are telling me it's only for the little one. Your photos of tandem nursing make me realize how precious this is. I hope to be able to emotionally heal (dealing w/ postpartum depression) enough to keep nursing both babies instead of weaning the older one. THANK YOU for this reminder of how beautiful an experience it can be. & oh how i wish it were the norm!! on a recent trip to our local children's hospital , i was nursing my son ( he's 12 mo.) while waiting for his siter in surgery, i was approached by a hospital emploee and told that i was not allowed to nurse in public in the hospital and was quickly escorted to the nearest closet :( !!
